What is the advantage?

If we consider standart sizes of containers (2,40x6,00m) normally two Container can be loaded onto a truck. (International dimensions of TIR platform is 2,50x13,60m)

This is advantage if the amount of Container order is one or two only. Becouse for the  transport, a truck has to be rented anyway and if it is two ( max) only, we deliver the containers erected (Set up).

This turns into disadvantage if  order is greater than two. Let us say 3 and  delivery is asked as erected Container; than a second TIR is needed. Consequently, each two units brings additional TIR rental. On the other hand, if the units are flat pack ( not assembled ) 8 unit would fit onto one TIR.

Assuming a Project having 45 units, transport would cost a fortune. One  TIR for two Container would make 23 TIR and the cost would definitely be comparable to the cost of containers itself.

Now the advantage of flat pack appears as 8 units to one and all you need 6 TIR. (45/8<=6 )
